Stunning French Commode and Secretaire

We have recently restored these lovely quality French pieces of Furniture. Both apparently exhibited at the Exposition Universelle in Paris in 1855. There were extensive areas of loose and missing veneer and once repaired we revived the original finish and the results can be seen in the photos below.
